Anti Wrinkle Injections
We offer anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers all administered by a doctor.
At UK Skin Aesthetics Cheshire, we offer anti wrinkle injections and dermal fillers. These are all administered by a doctor to ensure you are in the safest of hands. The dermal fillers we use are Juvederm only bought in a pharmacy in the UK.
Our treatments include:
As your skin ages, it loses the collagen that helps to shape and support it.
Natural lines and wrinkles deepen. Sun exposure, smoking, air pollution, and even stress can all age your appearance. Furthermore, the face can also begin to lose volume, giving sunken cheeks and a ‘dragged down’ appearance.
Dermal fillers can be used as a non-surgical facelift. A specifically formulated filler is injected into the mid-face to augment and lift the cheeks.
This gives the face a fuller appearance, lifting jowls and correcting sagging in the cheeks and lower face.
As with many treatments nowadays, dermal fillers are relatively painless.
Many contain an anaesthetic within the product itself, or we can apply a topical anaesthetic to your skin before the treatment.
Some mild swelling, bruising or redness in injection sites is normal. However, if you have any concerns you must call your practitioner.
The effects usually last between 6 months and 18 months, depending on the area treated. We will discuss the effects in more detail during your initial consultation with the practitioner.
dermal fillers: Tear trough (under the eye area), nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette , cheek fillers, lips.
anti wrinkle injections: forehead lines, frown lines, crows feet, tear trough, smokers lines, eyebrow lift, excessive sweating, migraine treatment.
The treatment involves injecting under the skin. This paralyses (relaxes or ‘freezes’) certain facial muscles to give a smoother, more youthful appearance to the skin.
As with any injectable procedure, wrinkle-smoothing injections should only be practiced in a sterile environment by a fully qualified medical professional.
It is important not to be tempted to take cheap, ‘quick fix’ injections by unqualified practitioners, however accessible or seemingly reasonable the price.
The procedure takes around 5 to 10 minutes, depending on how many injection sites are needed.
Your practitioner will allow around 15 to 20 minutes for the appointment.
The complete results can take up to 14 days.
A good practitioner will always suggest that you return for a ‘top-up’ about a fortnight after treatment, if needed.
The longevity varies, but usually the results last between 3 and 6 months.
